Whoa- I just realized how long it has been since I hit everyone with an update. Sorry bout that. I've been feeling great with energy improvement daily. Been getting in some long awaited exercise too. Being sore never felt so good. All is well.
Getting a bit stir crazy feeling so well and not really being able to go into public spaces yet. Almost there though. I'll be rubbing elbows wih strangers again in no time.
I'll begin the suntan portion of my treatment tomorrow assuming the final prep work gets finished up today. I'll know more about the final plan today at my appt, but I believe I'll be getting hit 20 something times with a lowered radiation dose, which has been well proven and documented to kill off any remaining hodgkins cells. I'm ready to get the show on the road. I'm not expecting anything more than a little fatigue and a sore throat as I get into the meat of the treatments. It is cumulative, so I don't suspect I'll have any side effects for the first week or so.
Thats it for now. I promise I won't be so long 'til my next update. This one was so late, I almost forgot the user name I have set up for this account. Sheesh.
see now when you forget things you have the excuse of "chemo brain." no one can argue that one. but you might want to make sure you have properly noted things like your beautiful wife's birthday, your anniversary, etc.
17 days still the forecast? Looking oh-so-forward to you and your upcoming FREEDOM (pun totally intended). Maybe you should come play instructor with us...though likely not on the day we do the little 5 workout. Even for non-immunosuppressed peeps, the germ fest there can't be good for anyone.
Hope to see you soon!
