Anyone that knows you even a little knows that an afternoon on the couch is NOT your idea of a good time. And soon enough you'll be back in the gym inspiring us all and making us eek out that one last push-up or squat. So glad to hear your appetite is coming back!

Jules - Freedom

More Zone-ified meals headed your way this weekend, now that those tastebuds are coming on back!

So glad to hear that you'll get some days off. A much needed break, I'm sure!

Keep it up my dears...because as sick and twisted as it sounds, I'm looking forward to my first Murph being the celebration of DAY 1 of the JWOD. Next thing to calendar: Jeff and Melissa's post-transplant century!! How about tequila instead of beer?

You all are amazing...

So glad you're getting your appetite back and making all these great steps to recovery... and Melissa is pretty great. :) I've always liked having her for a sister! Sounds like you haven't had alot of time to be bored, but if so, maybe you're watching the Olympics and getting pumped from that! Football is starting soon too! It's not quite the same, but I'm in a season of "counting the days" as well! Thanks for keeping us all posted... love you guys!

Hey Jeff, so glad to hear that things are getting better for you! I've been out of touch with posting on your blog, but I have been reading it to keep up with you. I gave platelets a couple of weeks ago and am going again next week - hoping for a new PR :) Take care, hope to see you soon!

Paige

Hey Jeff, great title/subject! So glad things are getting better for you.

My mom always says, just keep on keepin' on. I have found myself saying that to people. Oh wait. Does this mean I'm turning into my mom?!?

Anyway, thinking about you and Melissa.

So when are we going to go get wings at Taco Mac?? :) I think thats the name of the place... sorry its been a couple of days but life is CRAZY... I got my kids on Tuesday and we started the day in partial lockdown, what joy is mine, anyways it was fine but we have a lot of changes this year and I am adjusting a little slower than I would like. I have a lot of kids... again so I am trying to get energy up (I know its probably a compliment, but still).
Did you watch Michael Phelps win all the races?? I am watching track and field right now. Miss you guys more than you know. I was introducing my kids to my family through pictures. They were all really glad to know you are on the mend... one of these days I'll have to get Melis down here to meet Libby, the horse I have been riding... I don't know that we can ride double on trail like we used to, but I think she would like her. Ok, that was a rambling post. :)
Love you!!!

Yo J & M,
always good to hear good news coming from you. You're both so impressive with the way you're handling this challenge and keeping you spirits up. I just got back from my 2nd round of platelet donation, and I didn't screw it up this time! They give you a mini-DVD to watch while they vampire you, and I watched Semi-Pro both times. It is one of the funniest damn movies I've ever seen. I highly recommend it.

Stay Strong.
