It is the AM of the 4th, and what should be the last cycle of ICE. Today should be relatively easy with only the 2 hour drip coming my way. It is tomorrow when it gets difficult. I'm not looking forward to that 24 hour drip pump they send me home with. 2 of 4 times now, I've "kissed the clown" during the 24 hour drip.
I'm feeling well today and I believe M & I are in the right state of mind for another fun week. Normally, I"m hit every two weeks, but this break was 3, since they did stem cell harvesting this past week. The long break was nice. After this 4th cycle, I'll get another 3 weeks until the high dose chemo that goes along w the transplant. Then, all I gotta do is sit back and recover! Lets all keep our fingers crossed that the tests show that everything is where it is supposed to be after this 4th round. That will insure I go straight into the transplant process.
Stay cool. I don't remember the last time it was this hot and humid in June.
Hey man, it was good to see you in the other day. I hope you're feeling as well as can be expected after the 4th round and the 24-hour drip. We're praying for you bro, stay strong!
