Well, I finally got word back from the PET scans that I had on Monday. Good news and not as good news. No bad news.
The Good- The infection that they found in my lungs from the other week is now completely gone. Scans showed no more inflamation. I never felt anything wrong other than fever. Also, the disease is responding well to the chemotherapy I have been given so far. The nodes in my chest are not showing any diseases.
The not as good: I didn't make it to complete remission from 2 cycles of ICE. There are still a couple of nodes in my neck and armpit area that are affected. The doctor has prescribed 2 more cycles of chemical warfare. They are pretty confident that will do it- then I can move on to the stem cell transplant and be done once and for all.
See- no bad news today. Just not everything I wanted to hear. I was hoping I'd be able to go straight into the transplant. I am to start back up on chemo Monday- which means ANOTHER few days of feeling great! I'll keep y'all updated.
No bad news, is what we all wanted to hear. Two more rounds, you got this!!! Let me know if you need anything :)

Hi guys,
Hope all goes well today.
Good to see you yesterday Jeff, We are very happy that Northside is working out better for you.
Don't forgot we are only 5 minutes away from Northside if you need anything, although I was glad to hear that they keep you in the hospital for the minimum amount of time....oh the comfort of your own nurse and bed!

Jeff,
Keep on Keep'n on !!! The next 2 rounds of ICE should be the sucker punches that lay out your lymphoma. I see you got an early visit to the isolation ward with your lung infection. It's no Hilton, but they treat you pretty good. If for some reason, you have to make another visit, ask Rick (bald guy - nurse) to make you a milkshake. He's famous for them!! If nursing doesn't work out for him, Dairy Queen will be calling his name. Emily and I think of you all the time as we can relate all to well with what you and Melissa are going through. Stay Positive!!! -Jason
