Sorry I didn't get to do any writing while I was in the hospital over the weekend. It wasn't that I felt too bad, I was just busy with getting all settled in, meeting nurses, docs etc. I"m not real sure what all I filled you in on last time, and am a bit too tired to go back and look.
We'll just say that this ICE regimen is just a wee bit tougher than the ABVD I was on before. It wasn't too bad until Saturday evening, during my 24 hour dose. I had some fun showing off my hurling skills to a few of my family and friends.
I was released from the hospital yesterday about 4:30 in the afternoon. Im back home now and am resting comfortably. I have had my first bit of solid food around lunchtime. I think I'm on the mend. Once I feel a little bit better, I'll fill you guys in on my latest adventures.
Hope you are doing well - all things considered. Did Melissa at least get pictures of you hurling? I figure we might have a new photo for Pukey the Clown.

Hey Jeff, we're back from Mexico and I'm just checking in on you...glad you are home and hope all's as well as can be expected. What happens if you attach an IV bag full of Mezcal to that catheter? I've got some for you and Melissa and will drop off soon.
Yesterday's Freedom warmup and cooldown were all my bastardized Spanish, wish you could have been there to contribute! Big hugs.

Hey Jeff, I just heard about everything that's going on. I can't believe it's back, again (as I'm sure you can't either!), but I know you and Melissa are so strong, mentally and physically, that you'll kick it's ass again! I am thinking about you guys, keep up your great attitude - you're WAAAAAAAY too strong for cancer!

Forgot to mention: I did the workout yesterday with the 135# thrusters, 50# pullups, burpees for 5 rounds.
I was trying to beat Sam (as always, he had 86 reps). Completely didn't think that DC's 97 reps was doable. I get done and start adding...94 reps.
I sort of got mad at myself, due to the fact that I jumped off the pullups early a few times and stopped the thrusters twice...I think I could have found 4 more reps.
I'll be up there with the big dawgs soon! Just like killer!!!

Well Lauren, there is only one good way to find out. I'm basically a human science project for the next 4-6 months. Lets add that to the tally! I'll betcha I'll have a day or two that I feel well enough soon to tip one of those back with you. Don't keep it too far out of site. C-dog- you'r always coppin out with those excuses. A paltry 94 reps. sheesh. Thanks for the blow by blow! I need the action.

Nice work making friends with the nurses and docs. When I was in the hospital I spent all my waking time playing mayor of my hospital room... shaking hands and kissing babies. I forgot I was in the hospital! Plus, it makes the nurses LOVE you, which certainly helps! Stay strong, focused and positive.
