Just a quickie- I'm feeling like a champ again. Must have something to do with the awesome weather, who knows. I'm back at work this week. I've got Labs on Tuesday and again on Friday before checking back into the hospital for the yuck Friday afternoon. So far, all is on track.
Was having a pretty wild reaction to one of the chemo drugs used to treat nausea that they give me along with the chemo. It is a steroid of some sort I believe. I was feeling like I was going to crawl out of my skin. I didn't sleep for more than 2 hours at a time from last Wed until Friday. Before I started peeling my eyelids back and scratching at the back of my skull, I finally called the doc. He advised me to take one of my anti nausea pills that they sent home with me for an as needed basis. Apparently, this particular anti nausea pill counteracts the steroid that they gave me in the hospital. Two hours later, I was back to normal. Ahhhhhh better living through chemistry.
Will update everyone this weekend to let y'all know how beat down #2 is going. See ya!
Go get that number 2 done! Number 2 is a lucky number... it's the victory number.

Jeff and Melissa-
I'm not sure if you'll remember me from Atlanta Kick a few years ago, but I just wanted to say that I'll keep you guys in my thoughts as you go through this for round 2.

Have heard a lot about the two of you. Jeff the Lord is in control and has His arms around you. Your spirit is beautiful. Melissa what a joy it is to see a wife who is truly by her man. Many prayers are being said for you both. God is our refuge and strength an ever present help in trouble. ~Psalms 46:1 Seek and ye shall find.

Jeff,
Just started reading your blog recently. I admire your courage during these times. You're an inspiration to a lot of people and I know that once you finish all your treatments you will come back to CF'ing with the same dedication you had before. If you or Melissa need anything from me please do not hesitate to contact me.
